PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The factory Benelli M4 trigger is one of the most consistently criticized parts of the platform — heavy, mushy, and slow to reset. This kit replaces the hammer, trigger, and disconnector with sharp engagement surfaces for a noticeably lighter, cleaner break, benefiting competition, duty, and home-defense use alike.
It's a full system upgrade, not just three parts: reduced-power hammer, trigger, and firing pin springs come in the box along with a new cartridge drop lever spring, plus a quick-change D-clip that replaces the factory snap ring for far easier future maintenance and inspection. Note: this kit does not include the Trigger Guard as in the pictures — it's the three-piece trigger group and five springs only.
FULL SPECIFICATIONS & INSTALLATION
- Pull weight: reduces from roughly 8 lbs stock to roughly 6 lbs installed, for a noticeably crisper break.
- Finish: every part starts with an NP3® coating for low-friction operation and corrosion resistance. Choose NP3® as-is, or add a black Cerakote finish over the NP3® base for a low-visibility, mil-spec look — either way you keep the NP3® lubricity and corrosion protection underneath.
- What's included: hammer, trigger, disconnector, reduced-power hammer spring, reduced-power trigger spring, reduced-power firing pin spring, cartridge drop lever spring, and a quick-replacement D-clip (replacing the OEM snap ring).
- 922(r) count: the hammer, trigger, and disconnector are each U.S.-manufactured and stamped "USA," adding three compliant parts toward your build at once.

Easy drop in fit……no problems. Used the hammer & firing pin spring…….reduced the trigger pull from 8 1/2 to 6 1/2 .
I like it! I bought the #11787. Bought it, studied it, cleaned it, played with it, shot it and cleaned it again. It works. So I felt the trigger could use some help and help it got. Starting with a much deeper study. Now we all make choices, did I make the right choice, I’m satisfied with the choices that I made. I replaced the trigger housing with the aluminum housing, I replaced the saftey switch, I replaced the carrier with the extended lift, and I replaced with the NP3 Trigger, Hammer, and Disconnector, but kept the OEM Springs! Cleaned and lubed everything with BoreTech Cleaners, Slip 2000 Lubricants and an Ultrasonic tank. Shot another 250 rounds,1600 FPS Ammo, 00 buck and segmented slugs. Some standing and some from a seated bench rest, sighting in. All was and is without flaw. So the trigger, is a little over 6lb, and smooth like fluid smooth. I particularly like that it is repeatable, pulls clean no grit no bind no drag, al the way to the wall, than hold it, and bang. Over and over and over. I like it. The springs, well this could be BS, I can’t prove it, just being honest, but on more than one occasion I read that it is possible to have a light strike, misfire, OH Heavens No. I can’t risk my home defense weapon to be a failure for a pound and a half of trigger pull. Listen we make our choices but what I want you all to know is the trigger is right on, Professional. I like it. By the way Shell Tactical has a you can’t go wrong set of in order illustration’s on how to replace/ rebuild your trigger. Ok enough. To the Shell Tactical Team, Thanks for all your work.
