AB 1263
What AB 1263 is:
Governor Newsom signed AB 1263 on October 11, 2025, and it took effect January 1, 2026. It imposes new verification and shipping rules on any seller — in-state or out-of-state — shipping firearm accessories to California customers only.
In an email to Shelltactical@gmail.com:
- Include a picture of your government photo ID
- Make sure your shipping address is the same as the address on your ID.
- Copy and paste the following paragraph along with your digital signature (type your full name) at the end confirming you acknowledged it.
By placing this order, the customer affirms compliance with California AB1263 and all applicable laws, confirms they are legally eligible to purchase and possess firearm-related items, and certifies that all products will be used only for lawful purposes.
It should look something like this:
"By placing this order, the customer affirms compliance with California AB1263 and all applicable laws, confirms they are legally eligible to purchase and possess firearm-related items, and certifies that all products will be used only for lawful purposes."
