MAC 1014 2-Round Magazine Extension – Titanium

The MAC 1014 ships from the factory with a false aluminum limiter plugging the magazine tube, blocking two rounds of capacity that are already built into the gun. The Shell Tactical 2-Round Magazine Extension replaces that limiter, bringing your MAC 1014 from 5+1 to 7+1 capacity with a direct screw-on installation that requires no gunsmithing, no heat gun, and no permanent modifications to your shotgun.

This is the simpler path to 7 rounds. Your OEM 5-round tube stays in place. The limiter comes out, the extension screws on, and you're done.

Titanium Extension Tube

Precision CNC machined from aircraft-grade titanium alloy and Cerakoted in the USA. At just 1.87oz (53g), it's actually lighter than the false aluminum OEM limiter it replaces (2.47oz / 70g) — meaning this upgrade reduces muzzle weight while adding capacity. Virtually rust and corrosion-proof.

Installation

1. Clear and safe the firearm. Field strip your MAC 1014.
2. Using snap ring pliers, remove the spring retaining ring from the OEM limiter (caution — it's under spring tension).
3. Transfer the spring retaining ring into the new extension.
4. Insert the spring and thread on the extension.
5. Reassemble your shotgun.

Recommended upgrade: The Wolff Magazine Spring is strongly recommended when running extended capacity. The OEM Spring is adequate when new but tends to take a set with use, leading to cycling issues. The Wolff Spring offers increased power and a shorter solid length — the better choice for any extended tube setup.
