The factory safety is flat and easy to lose under a thumb, especially moving fast. This crossbolt safety's concave sides plant your finger positively every time, and the red ready indicator removes any guesswork about the gun's state.

This safety is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the raised ridges around the perimeter. This helps ensure a better placement of your thumb or finger less chance of slipping off. It’s a little thicker than the plain flat safety Benelli uses. It’s a nice improvement in quality, looks and function! I’m glad I purchased it….
