Benelli M4 Safety Overview

The Benelli M4 Safety is manufactured by Strike industries specifically for the Benelli M4 and other M series shotguns. It is a crossbolt, ambidextrous safety button that replaces the factory Benelli M4 safety.

Benelli M4 Safety Design

The Benelli M4 Safety has a concave face on each side that fits your fingertip for better positive feedback. Its upgraded design has a rounded internal selector notch that is quieter, smoother, and easier to press. This allows getting your Benelli M4 from a safe position to a ready to fire position just a little quicker.

Features

The Benelli M4 Safety features a bright red ring that tells the user when it’s in a ready to fire position unlike other aftermarket Benelli M4 safety buttons. The face of the safety matches the triangle design of the trigger guard and has machined grooves to reduce slipping and increase styling.

Benelli M4 Safety Material & Finish

The Benelli M4 upgraded safety is precision machined from high strength, 4140 chromoly steel. It is then hardened and colored a deep matte black color using the Quench Polished Quenched (QPQ) processes that increase the surface hardness up to an extremely hard 60HRC. This process makes the Benelli M4 safety switch very resistant to both abrasion and corrosion.

Installation of the Benelli M4 Safety

1. Remove the trigger assembly from the M4
2. Put your thumb over the spring and detent hole and push out the roll pin using a punch.
3. Slide out the old safety and slide in the new Benelli M4 safety.
4. push down the detent spring with another punch and push back in the roll pin at the same time.
