The Internal Snap Ring Pliers Can be Used to:
- Install a new recoil tube or replacing the recoil tube spring.
- Swap out a 5-round tube with a 7 round extension tube and/or replacing the magazine spring.
- Remove the receiver pin that holds the trigger assembly in place.
The External Snap Ring Pliers Can be Used to:
- Install a new trigger guard or swap out internal trigger components.
- Remove the snap ring that secures the barrel front sling plate.

Broke on first use. For some reason when I read the listing for these I assumed these with proprietary to the benelli m4 and normal snap ring pliers would work which was why I bought them. Anytime I have ever purchased a cheap snap ring pliers they are dookie and these were no exception. Acoid these and just buy a good pair if you will be actually using them. The rest of my order was perfect and I don’t have anything bad to say about Shell Tac. My review is simply on these on par with harbor freight pliers.
These things are really annoying. Several manufacturers make snap ring pliers, but many of them don't work on the M4 snap ring. I know, I tried. The only thing that works is the official M4 Snap Ring Pliers. Although, I did have some success with a multi-tool and two small Alan keys.
Came in handy for removing the factory sling plate. Well made tool.
