The Benelli M4 3-Position Recoil Tube, manufactured by Benelli for the M4/M1014 models, is designed to replace worn-out three-position recoil tubes or the single-position recoil tubes found on the limited-edition civilian M1014. This component is a factory original part produced by Benelli OEM (Part #70130).

Why Won’t My Collapsible Stock Collapse?

The civilian limited-edition M1014 model features a "collapsible stock" mounted on a single-position recoil tube. The M1014 can be identified by the American flag engraving on its receiver. Many customers are surprised to find that their collapsible stock does not collapse. This is because the civilian M1014 is equipped with a single-position recoil tube that is fixed in the fully extended position. Benelli implemented this non-collapsible feature to comply with 922r regulations when shipping to America.

Benelli M4 Recoil Tube Positions

The Benelli M4 three-position recoil tube includes three operational positions and one take-off position:

1. Fully Collapsed: For compact transport.

2. Midway: Suitable for use with body armor or in close-quarters combat.

3. Take-Down Notch: For removing the collapsible stock.

4. Fully Extended: For regular shooting.

Installing the Benelli M4 Recoil Tube
